We are looking to hire the right person residing in or close to Roxbury/Randolph/Mendham/Chester, NJ to help with daily dog walks.
The right candidate must also be available for occasional overnight pet sitting jobs in a client's home and late night/early morning pet visits.
We are looking to hire a local part-time W-2 dog walker and pet sitter.
Becoming part of the Walks Wiggles and Wags team is a great source of supplemental income for someone with a flexible schedule! There are no guaranteed hours for this position, there may be no work at all some weeks, while other weeks could be very busy.
Qualifications:
Must live in or near service areas and willing to service a 10-mile radius Must have a genuine passion for helping people and caring for animals Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation at all times Must have a working and reliable smart phone and phone service at ALL times Must be legal to work Must be in good physical and mental health (can walk anywhere from 2-6 hours per day) Must be willing and able to walk in various types of weather Able to speak English and communicate well with clients and team members Professional, responsible, honest, trustworthy, personable Has personal or professional experience caring for pets of all sizes Motivated by more than a paycheck Background checks and references are required Enjoys working independently and in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Must be available Monday-Friday between 9am-6pm for regular daytime walks and occasional weekends/before & after business hours Enjoy meeting clients for consultations and meet & greets Punctual, courteous, communicates with clients, the office, and fellow team members Detailed, well-written report cards and photos for the client after each visit Provide updates for each client through our app Label and secure client keys COMPENSATION:
Team members will be W-2 employees with a starting pay of $15/hr plus mileage reimbursement Benefits such as paid time off, disability, and worker's compensation are being offered as a W-2 employee We are not interviewing for seasonal or short-term or temporary help Job Types:
